Tortuga del Fuego translates (ish) to Fire Turtle, and the company wanted unique packaging for this spicy blend of red chile and classic turtle flavors.

Inspired by kaiju and featuring destruction of the Albuquerque skyline, I created the character, illustration, and layout for the bag label.

Additionally, the company wanted to create a piece of merchandise to go with the limited-time release. I took the illustration, reduced it to a single color, and rearranged the elements to bring to mind a movie poster for the back graphic of a long-sleeve tee.
